Introduction of Functions
Harmonic Filter: HTQF is composed of command current computing circuit and compensation current generating circuit. Command current computing circuit conducts real-time monitoring of current in circuit; switch the analogue current signals into digital signals, and send the signals into DSP for handling; separate harmonics and fundamental wave, send drive pulse in form of PWM signals to compensation current generating circuit; drive IGBT power module, produce compensation current input network which has the same amplitude as harmonic amplitude and inverse polarity; compensate or balance out harmonic current, eliminate power harmonics actively, and thus realize the dynamic quick and complement treatment of power harmonics.
Dynamic reactive power compensation: While filtering harmonics, according to detected need for reactive power compensation, HTQF command current computing circuit can control internal capative and inductive fundamental current of compensation current generating circuit, conduct real-time compensation, set the target value of reactive power compensation through operation board. There are 4 working modes for choice, namely, “filter priority”, “reactive power priority”, “harmonic filter only”, “and reactive power compensation only”. The working mode should be selected according to specific conditions of power distribution system.
Correct unbalanced 3 phases: HTQF can compensate the unbalanced 3 phases respectively. It can conduct phase adjustment of active power through DC Energy Storage Systems shared by 3 phases, thus to correct unbalanced load of 3 phases. The operation of this function can also be set by operation board.
APF Series Brief introduction:
Active Power Filter is a new electric power harmonic management dedicated device, which adopts modern power electronics technology and the digital signal processing technique in the digital signal processor (DSP). This Filter can overcome the traditional Filter, like LC Filter etc. Shortcomings of harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation, achieve dynamic tracing compensation and fill the harmonic, reactive power. The main function is managing the current harmonic, Series active Filter is mainly managing the voltage harmonic.

•The system has fast and complete fault self detection features, including undervoltage or overvoltage , overcurrent, fan failure , power devices over temperature , input fuse failure etc. fault self detection, all fault could be alarmed by APF and automatically taken corresponding actions.
•APF’s high-frequency carrier itself can not be feedback to electric network.
•Overcompensation must be avoided during filtering, i.e. APF could realize only filtering without generating reactive power to avoid over compensation completely, or by setting target power factor, the remaining energy after filtering is used for reactive power compensation.
•Have soft start control loop to avoid too large inrush current while starting and to limit the current within rated range.
•When the system is powered down, the filter could be automatically disconnected; After system recovery, the filter can be automatically restored.
•User could realize status monitoring and control setting through filter controller, including password lock, data measurement, control setting, event logging, status monitoring and alarm etc. functions.
